The Whole Perspective

As Teenagers of the 21st Century, we are constantly determined to look and feel our best. This can sometimes prove rather challenging as the perceptions of 'who we are' are continually being influenced and unfortunately being altered from external sources such as the media, friends, celebrities, the opposite sex etc. So how do we ignore these exterior distractions and focus on our true selves? It is a question that will haunt many of us, however, it is a question that has no specific answer, only YOU can determine the definition of YOUR own self worth, not your parents, friends, siblings, teachers etc. It is all about how you see yourself, because we don't live in the world, we live in our minds! If you look at the 'whole perspective' beauty from the inside out is the best way to go! This includes not just what you put inside your body, but what you give to others. The giving I'm talking about is not in the physical sense, but rather the metaphorical.

Life is one big massive path that has a starting point and a destination. Now, life is not necessarily  all about the destination, it's also about the journey; the person you become and the people you meet along the way. Therefore, each and everyone of us unknowingly 'gives' a piece of ourselves to all the people we encounter on a daily basis. It is your choice whether you give them a true, honest, kind and loving piece or a rude, deceitful and bitchy one. These pieces all come together  in our souls and create an image. This image makes up WHO we are! This internal image that you create daily is also filled with your talents, gifts, emotions, ambitions, dreams, experiences, strengths and loves. How you treat others and yourself moulds this image, discovering your dreams and talents draws this image, and how you persue these dreams brings it to life (adds colour and meaning). It is our purpose to create our very own original and magnificant illustration of ourselves and allow others to do the same.

As you read this you now receive a piece of me a piece from my image to yours; I send you countless amounts of unconditional love. Want to know why? It's because you are good enough, you are worth it, you are special and I love you for YOU not what you look like or where you come from. I love and believe in the dreams that you dream, in the thoughts that you think and the best YOU you WILL become. The next missing piece is that  you have to believe that you matter, because you can make a difference if you 'give' it your all!
